According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of medical instruments (HS Code: 9018) in December 2024 reached 32.3 mln pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 13.9 mln pcs (-30.1%).
Year-on-year, the import of medical instruments dropped by 7.7 mln pcs (-19.2%) compared to December 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import showed a decrease of 6.8 mln pcs (-17.4%).
YTD, the import of medical instruments amounted to 531.8 mln pcs, which is 34.4 mln pcs (+6.9%) more compared to the same period last year.
