Ukraine: Imports of sunflower seeds for February 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in February 2024, the import of sunflower seeds (HS Code: 1206) amounted to 5.3 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 764.4 metric tons (+17.0%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to February 2023, the import of sunflower seeds showed a year-on-year decrease of 862.2 metric tons (-14.1%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (February 2022), the import declined by 506.1 metric tons (-8.8%).
Year-to-date, the import of sunflower seeds reached 9.7 thsd metric tons, down by 308.8 metric tons (-3.1%) compared to last year.
