Ukraine: Imports of sunflower seeds for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of sunflower seeds (HS Code: 1206) amounted to 22.6 metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 65.4 metric tons (3.9 times).

Year-on-year, the import of sunflower seeds declined by 1.1 thsd metric tons (47.6 times) compared to August 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import showed a decrease of 48.7 metric tons (3.2 times).

The import of sunflower seeds YTD amounted to 14.7 thsd metric tons, falling by 9.5 thsd metric tons (-39.3%) compared to the previous year.
