Ukraine: Imports of seeds for sowing for August 2025

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of seeds for sowing (HS Code: 1209) in August 2025 amounted to 35.6 metric tons.

The import dropped by 133.9 metric tons (4.8 times) compared to the previous month.

Compared to August 2024, the import of seeds for sowing year-on-year decreased by 21.5 metric tons (-37.6%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import showed a decrease of 124.4 metric tons (4.5 times).

The YTD import of seeds for sowing amounted to 2.3 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 570.3 metric tons (-20.0%) compared to the same period last year.
