Ukraine: Imports of palm oil for May 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of palm oil (HS Code: 1511) in May 2024 amounted to 14.5 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 9.2 thsd metric tons (2.7 times) compared to the previous month.
Compared to May 2023, the import of palm oil year-on-year increased by 11.4 thsd metric tons (4.6 times).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 5.3 thsd metric tons (+57.0%).
YTD, the import of palm oil amounted to 43.6 thsd metric tons, which is 10.7 thsd metric tons (+32.3%) more compared to the same period last year.
