, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of chocolate (HS Code: 1806) in May 2024 reached 1.8 thsd metric tons.
The import dropped by 512.4 metric tons (-22.5%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2023, the import of chocolate showed a year-on-year decrease of 182.6 metric tons (-9.4%).
The import grew by 318.9 metric tons (+22.0%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).
The YTD import of chocolate reached 12.9 thsd metric tons, increasing by 388.6 metric tons (+3.1%) compared to last year.
