Ukraine: Imports of chocolate for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of chocolate (HS Code: 1806) amounted to 2.4 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 610.3 metric tons (+33.6%).
In comparison to August 2023, the import of chocolate showed a year-on-year decrease of 148.0 metric tons (-5.8%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import rose by 249.6 metric tons (+11.5%).
The YTD import of chocolate reached 18.9 thsd metric tons, increasing by 241.1 metric tons (+1.3%) compared to last year.
