, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in January 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 74.8 mln pcs.
The import decreased by 318.9 mln pcs (5.3 times) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 228.4 mln pcs (4.1 times) compared to January 2023.
Relative to the same month two years ago (January 2022), the import rose by 23.5 mln pcs (+45.7%).
