According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in March 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 238.3 mln pcs.
The import increased by 130.2 mln pcs (2.2 times) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to March 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes showed a year-on-year decrease of 203.1 mln pcs (-46.0%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (March 2022), the import increased by 218.4 mln pcs (12.0 times).
The import of cigars and cigarettes YTD amounted to 421.1 mln pcs, falling by 573.1 mln pcs (2.4 times) compared to the previous year.
