According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in May 2025 reached 604.6 mln pcs.

The import increased by 207.6 mln pcs (+52.3%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes rose by 451.8 mln pcs (4.0 times) compared to May 2024.

Two years ago, in the same month (May 2023), the import increased by 218.6 mln pcs (+56.6%).

Year-to-date, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 3.3 B pcs, up by 2.5 B pcs (4.0 times) compared to the previous year.
