Ukraine: Imports of tobacco products for May 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of tobacco products (HS Code: 2404) totaled 601.5 mln pcs.
The import dropped by 208.8 mln pcs (-25.8%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2023, the import of tobacco products showed a year-on-year increase of 82.8 mln pcs (+16.0%).
There was no import activity in May 2022.
YTD, the import of tobacco products totaled 2.2 B pcs, which is 149.2 mln pcs (-6.3%) less than last year's figure.
