Ukraine: Imports of coal, briquettes for May 2025

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the import of coal, briquettes (HS Code: 2701) amounted to 498.7 thsd metric tons.

The import grew by 184.2 thsd metric tons (+58.6%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to May 2024, the import of coal, briquettes showed a year-on-year increase of 367.6 thsd metric tons (3.8 times).

Two years ago, in the same month (May 2023), the import increased by 457.2 thsd metric tons (12.0 times).

YTD, the import of coal, briquettes amounted to 1.6 mln metric tons, which is 600.3 thsd metric tons (+60.8%) more compared to the same period last year.
