According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of coke, semicoke (HS Code: 2704) amounted to 64.7 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 16.2 thsd metric tons (+33.5%).
The import of coke, semicoke year-on-year, compared to August 2023, grew by 20.6 thsd metric tons (+46.7%).
Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the import increased by 55.4 thsd metric tons (6.9 times).
The YTD import of coke, semicoke reached 408.4 thsd metric tons, increasing by 247.8 thsd metric tons (2.5 times) compared to last year.
