, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of paints and varnishes (HS Code: 3208) in May 2024 reached 1.7 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 398.1 metric tons (-19.4%).
Year-on-year, the import of paints and varnishes declined by 26.1 metric tons (-1.6%) compared to May 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 1.0 thsd metric tons (2.6 times).
The YTD import of paints and varnishes reached 8.0 thsd metric tons, increasing by 1.9 thsd metric tons (+31.5%) compared to last year.
