Ukraine: Imports of plastic containers for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of plastic containers (HS Code: 3923) in August 2024 amounted to 91.7 mln pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 10.5 mln pcs (-10.3%).
Year-on-year, the import of plastic containers rose by 31.8 mln pcs (+53.1%) compared to August 2023.
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import declined by 8.7 mln pcs (-8.6%).
YTD, the import of plastic containers totaled 476.8 mln pcs, which is 187.1 mln pcs (-28.2%) less than last year's figure.
