Ukraine: Imports of bags and suitcases for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bags and suitcases (HS Code: 4202) in August 2024 amounted to 920.4 thsd pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 266.9 thsd pcs (+40.9%).

Compared to August 2023, the import of bags and suitcases year-on-year decreased by 30.9 thsd pcs (-3.3%).

Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the import increased by 378.8 thsd pcs (+70.0%).

The import of bags and suitcases YTD amounted to 6.0 mln pcs, falling by 913.2 thsd pcs (-13.2%) compared to the previous year.
