According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of nonwovens (HS Code: 5603) in May 2024 amounted to 1.8 thsd metric tons.
The import dropped by 434.8 metric tons (-19.4%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to May 2023, the import of nonwovens year-on-year increased by 323.3 metric tons (+21.7%).
Two years ago, in the same month (May 2022), the import increased by 586.8 metric tons (+48.0%).
The import of nonwovens YTD amounted to 9.1 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 2.2 thsd metric tons (+33.0%).
