Ukraine: Imports of textile footwear for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of textile footwear (HS Code: 6404) amounted to 1.3 mln prs.
The import grew by 53.0 thsd prs (+4.3%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to August 2023, the import of textile footwear year-on-year decreased by 474.5 thsd prs (-26.8%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 870.0 thsd prs (3.1 times).
The import of textile footwear YTD amounted to 10.9 mln prs, exceeding last year's value by 2.3 mln prs (+27.1%).
