Ukraine: Imports of flat rolled steel for May 2025

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the import of flat rolled steel (HS Code: 7208) amounted to 31.8 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 3.3 thsd metric tons (-9.5%).

Year-on-year, the import of flat rolled steel declined by 2.1 thsd metric tons (-6.1%) compared to May 2024.

The import dropped by 6.3 thsd metric tons (-16.5%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2023).

YTD, the import of flat rolled steel amounted to 165.9 thsd metric tons, which is 26.4 thsd metric tons (+18.9%) more compared to the same period last year.
