According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cold-rolled steel (HS Code: 7209) in August 2024 amounted to 9.6 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 5.8 thsd metric tons (2.5 times).
Compared to August 2023, the import of cold-rolled steel year-on-year increased by 36.6 metric tons (+0.4%).
The import grew by 8.0 thsd metric tons (6.1 times) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022).
Year-to-date, the import of cold-rolled steel totaled 52.2 thsd metric tons, up by 5.3 thsd metric tons (+11.3%) compared to the previous year.
