, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cold-rolled steel (HS Code: 7209) in May 2025 reached 9.7 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 4.9 thsd metric tons (2.0 times).
Year-on-year, the import of cold-rolled steel rose by 3.6 thsd metric tons (+59.8%) compared to May 2024.
Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the import rose by 3.7 thsd metric tons (+61.4%).
The YTD import of cold-rolled steel reached 47.3 thsd metric tons, increasing by 18.4 thsd metric tons (+63.8%) compared to last year.
