, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cold-rolled steel (HS Code: 7209) in August 2025 reached 11.2 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 4.2 thsd metric tons (+60.0%).
Compared to August 2024, the import of cold-rolled steel year-on-year increased by 1.6 thsd metric tons (+17.0%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import rose by 1.7 thsd metric tons (+17.5%).
Year-to-date, the import of cold-rolled steel totaled 71.0 thsd metric tons, up by 18.8 thsd metric tons (+36.1%) compared to the previous year.
