Ukraine: Imports of flatrolled steel for May 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of flatrolled steel (HS Code: 7210) amounted to 49.6 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 7.8 thsd metric tons (+18.6%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2023, the import of flatrolled steel showed a year-on-year increase of 14.7 thsd metric tons (+42.1%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import rose by 33.4 thsd metric tons (3.1 times).
The YTD import of flatrolled steel reached 178.7 thsd metric tons, increasing by 27.0 thsd metric tons (+17.8%) compared to last year.
