Ukraine: Imports of flatrolled steel for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of flatrolled steel (HS Code: 7210) in August 2024 reached 43.0 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 4.4 thsd metric tons (-9.2%).

Compared to August 2023, the import of flatrolled steel year-on-year decreased by 21.4 thsd metric tons (-33.2%).

Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the import increased by 16.3 thsd metric tons (+61.0%).

The YTD import of flatrolled steel reached 315.1 thsd metric tons, increasing by 19.7 thsd metric tons (+6.7%) compared to last year.
