, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of flatrolled steel (HS Code: 7210) in May 2025 reached 47.5 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 9.1 thsd metric tons (+23.6%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of flatrolled steel declined by 2.1 thsd metric tons (-4.2%) compared to May 2024.
Two years ago, in the same month (May 2023), the import increased by 12.6 thsd metric tons (+36.2%).
YTD, the import of flatrolled steel amounted to 196.8 thsd metric tons, which is 18.1 thsd metric tons (+10.2%) more compared to the same period last year.
