Ukraine: Imports of steel profiles for May 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of steel profiles (HS Code: 7216) in May 2024 amounted to 7.8 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 757.1 metric tons (+10.8%).
Compared to May 2023, the import of steel profiles year-on-year increased by 1.7 thsd metric tons (+29.1%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import rose by 7.4 thsd metric tons (22.5 times).
YTD, the import of steel profiles amounted to 27.5 thsd metric tons, which is 2.3 thsd metric tons (+9.2%) more compared to the same period last year.
