According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of sorting machinery (HS Code: 8474) in August 2024 amounted to 843.6 metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 552.0 metric tons (-39.6%).
In comparison to August 2023, the import of sorting machinery showed a year-on-year increase of 156.0 metric tons (+22.7%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import rose by 79.3 metric tons (+10.4%).
The import of sorting machinery YTD amounted to 8.1 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 4.4 thsd metric tons (2.2 times).
