Ukraine: Imports of electric motors for December 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2024, the import of electric motors (HS Code: 8501) totaled 1.3 mln pcs.
The import decreased by 72.2 thsd pcs (-5.1%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to December 2023, the import of electric motors showed a year-on-year increase of 182.7 thsd pcs (+15.8%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import increased by 925.6 thsd pcs (3.2 times).
YTD, the import of electric motors amounted to 19.6 mln pcs, which is 10.9 mln pcs (2.2 times) more compared to the same period last year.
