Ukraine: Imports of electric motors for May 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of electric motors (HS Code: 8501) in May 2024 amounted to 1.9 mln pcs.
The import dropped by 199.9 thsd pcs (-9.6%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2023, the import of electric motors showed a year-on-year increase of 1.3 mln pcs (3.3 times).
Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import rose by 1.2 mln pcs (2.7 times).
The import of electric motors YTD amounted to 7.3 mln pcs, exceeding last year's value by 3.8 mln pcs (2.1 times).
