Ukraine: Imports of electric motors for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of electric motors (HS Code: 8501) amounted to 1.8 mln pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 228.5 thsd pcs (-11.5%).
The import of electric motors year-on-year, compared to August 2023, grew by 912.6 thsd pcs (2.1 times).
The import grew by 950.4 thsd pcs (2.2 times) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022).
The import of electric motors YTD amounted to 13.2 mln pcs, exceeding last year's value by 7.5 mln pcs (2.3 times).
