According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of telephones (HS Code: 8517) totaled 460.0 thsd pcs.
The import increased by 18.3 thsd pcs (+4.1%) compared to the previous month.
The import of telephones year-on-year, compared to August 2023, grew by 37.2 thsd pcs (+8.8%).
The import grew by 8.2 thsd pcs (+1.8%) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022).
YTD, the import of telephones amounted to 2.8 mln pcs, which is 74.3 thsd pcs (+2.7%) more compared to the same period last year.
