According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cables (HS Code: 8544) in May 2025 amounted to 4.4 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 95.1 metric tons (+2.2%).

Compared to May 2024, the import of cables year-on-year increased by 956.0 metric tons (+27.8%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the import increased by 440.6 metric tons (+11.2%).

Year-to-date, the import of cables totaled 20.7 thsd metric tons, up by 3.2 thsd metric tons (+18.6%) compared to the previous year.
