Ukraine: Imports of optical fibres for August 2025

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the import of optical fibres (HS Code: 9001) amounted to 1.8 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 118.7 thsd pcs (+7.0%).

In comparison to August 2024, the import of optical fibres showed a year-on-year increase of 495.6 thsd pcs (+37.6%).

Two years ago, in the same month (August 2023), the import increased by 597.9 thsd pcs (+49.1%).

The YTD import of optical fibres amounted to 12.7 mln pcs, decreasing by 100.1 thsd pcs (-0.8%) compared to the same period last year.
