According to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of toilet paper (HS Code: 481810) amounted to 748.1 MT.
The import grew by 8.6 MT (+1.2%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of toilet paper dropped by 202.3 MT (-21.3%) compared to May 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import showed a decrease of 71.3 MT (-8.7%).
The YTD import of toilet paper amounted to 3.6 K MT, decreasing by 208.3 MT (-5.4%) compared to the same period last year.
