According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the export of cigarettes (HS Code: 240220) amounted to 214.6 M pcs.

The export increased by 91.9 M pcs (+74.8%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the export of cigarettes rose by 182.7 M pcs (6.7 times) compared to May 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the export increased by 182.3 M pcs (6.7 times).

The YTD export of cigarettes reached 589.0 M pcs, increasing by 500.6 M pcs (6.7 times) compared to last year.
