According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of cotton fibre (HS Code: 520100) in May 2024 amounted to 13.7 K MT.

The export dropped by 405.2 MT (-2.9%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to May 2023, the export of cotton fibre showed a year-on-year increase of 9.1 K MT (3.0 times).

Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the export rose by 5.9 K MT (+76.5%).

YTD, the export of cotton fibre amounted to 60.8 K MT, which is 35.3 K MT (2.4 times) more compared to the same period last year.
