According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the export of salt (HS Code: 2501) totaled 1.8 thsd metric tons.
The export grew by 853.8 metric tons (+87.5%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to August 2024, the export of salt showed a year-on-year increase of 566.3 metric tons (+44.8%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the export increased by 1.1 thsd metric tons (2.4 times).
Year-to-date, the export of salt reached 14.0 thsd metric tons, down by 4.1 thsd metric tons (-22.7%) compared to last year.
