Azerbaijan: Exports of electricity for May 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of electricity (HS Code: 2716) in May 2024 reached 47.8 mln kWh.
The export dropped by 90.2 mln kWh (2.9 times) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2023, the export of electricity showed a year-on-year increase of 40.8 mln kWh (6.8 times).
Two years ago, in the same month (May 2022), the export increased by 16.6 mln kWh (+53.3%).
YTD, the export of electricity totaled 904.0 mln kWh, which is 1.9 B kWh (3.1 times) less than last year's figure.
