According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the export of electricity (HS Code: 2716) totaled 133.0 mln kWh.
Compared to the previous month, the export grew by 48.3 mln kWh (+57.1%).
In comparison to May 2024, the export of electricity showed a year-on-year increase of 85.2 mln kWh (2.8 times).
The export grew by 126.0 mln kWh (19.0 times) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2023).
YTD, the export of electricity totaled 658.1 mln kWh, which is 245.9 mln kWh (-27.2%) less than last year's figure.
