According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in April 2024, the export of cotton fiber (HS Code: 5201) amounted to 14.1 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export decreased by 1.1 thsd metric tons (-7.3%).
The export of cotton fiber year-on-year, compared to April 2023, grew by 10.1 thsd metric tons (3.5 times).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (April 2022), the export increased by 2.0 thsd metric tons (+16.3%).
Year-to-date, the export of cotton fiber totaled 51.6 thsd metric tons, up by 30.7 thsd metric tons (2.5 times) compared to the previous year.
