According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in February 2024, the import of corn (HS Code: 1005) amounted to 8.7 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 6.5 thsd metric tons (4.0 times).
The import of corn year-on-year, compared to February 2023, grew by 1.4 thsd metric tons (+18.5%).
The import dropped by 3.3 thsd metric tons (-27.7%) compared to the same month two years ago (February 2022).
Year-to-date, the import of corn reached 10.9 thsd metric tons, down by 6.8 thsd metric tons (-38.4%) compared to last year.
