According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of live cattle (HS Code: 102) amounted to 5.4 thsd pcs.
The import grew by 1.0 thsd pcs (+23.3%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to July 2023, the import of live cattle showed a year-on-year decrease of 2.3 thsd pcs (-29.9%).
Two years ago, in the same month (July 2022), the import increased by 3.3 thsd pcs (2.6 times).
YTD, the import of live cattle totaled 28.0 thsd pcs, which is 12.1 thsd pcs (-30.3%) less than last year's figure.
