According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) totaled 8.9 M m2.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 2.3 M m2 (+35.9%).
In comparison to May 2024, the import of synthetic fabrics showed a year-on-year decrease of 1.1 M m2 (-10.8%).
The import dropped by 1.1 M m2 (-10.7%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2023).
Year-to-date, the import of synthetic fabrics reached 34.8 M m2, down by 9.1 M m2 (-20.8%) compared to last year.
