Ukraine: Imports of synthetic fabrics for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) amounted to 14.5 mln m2.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 5.6 mln m2 (-27.8%).

In comparison to August 2023, the import of synthetic fabrics showed a year-on-year decrease of 2.0 mln m2 (-12.0%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 2.2 mln m2 (+18.0%).

YTD, the import of synthetic fabrics amounted to 123.0 mln m2, which is 492.0 thsd m2 (+0.4%) more compared to the same period last year.
