Azerbaijan: Imports of bananas for September 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in September 2024 amounted to 4.1 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 505.7 metric tons (+14.0%).
In comparison to September 2023, the import of bananas showed a year-on-year increase of 491.2 metric tons (+13.5%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (September 2022), the import rose by 795.6 metric tons (+24.0%).
The YTD import of bananas reached 43.3 thsd metric tons, increasing by 7.3 thsd metric tons (+20.2%) compared to last year.
