According to data from the State Customs Committee of
Azerbaijan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of tea (HS Code: 902) totaled 1.4 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 344.6 metric tons (-19.5%).
In comparison to August 2023, the import of tea showed a year-on-year decrease of 40.4 metric tons (-2.8%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import rose by 315.8 metric tons (+28.6%).
The import of tea YTD amounted to 9.8 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 1.1 thsd metric tons (+12.4%).
