According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of tea (HS Code: 902) in August 2024 amounted to 2.5 thsd metric tons.
The import dropped by 3.1 metric tons (remained nearly unchanged) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of tea declined by 235.4 metric tons (-8.7%) compared to August 2023.
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import declined by 50.6 metric tons (-2.0%).
The YTD import of tea amounted to 18.4 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 6.2 thsd metric tons (-25.3%) compared to the same period last year.
