Kazakhstan: Imports of tea for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of tea (HS Code: 902) in August 2024 amounted to 2.5 K MT.

The import dropped by 3.1 MT (remained nearly unchanged) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of tea declined by 235.4 MT (-8.7%) compared to August 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import declined by 50.6 MT (-2.0%).

The YTD import of tea amounted to 18.4 K MT, decreasing by 6.2 K MT (-25.3%) compared to the same period last year.
