According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in April 2024 amounted to 335.0 mln pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the export grew by 101.4 mln pcs (+43.4%).
In comparison to April 2023, the export of cigars and cigarettes showed a year-on-year decrease of 119.6 mln pcs (-26.3%).
Two years ago, in the same month (April 2022), the export increased by 101.7 mln pcs (+43.6%).
The YTD export of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 1.3 B pcs, decreasing by 29.9 mln pcs (-2.2%) compared to the same period last year.
