According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in April 2025, the export of asbestos (HS Code: 2524) totaled 21.4 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export dropped by 7.5 thsd metric tons (-25.9%).
Year-on-year, the export of asbestos declined by 661.2 metric tons (-3.0%) compared to April 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (April 2023), the export showed a decrease of 9.4 thsd metric tons (-30.5%).
The YTD export of asbestos reached 83.4 thsd metric tons, increasing by 24.4 thsd metric tons (+41.5%) compared to last year.
