According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of iron ores (HS Code: 2601) in May 2024 reached 1.1 mln metric tons.
The export increased by 316.7 thsd metric tons (+40.7%) compared to the previous month.
The export of iron ores year-on-year, compared to May 2023, grew by 333.0 thsd metric tons (+43.7%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the export increased by 600.3 thsd metric tons (2.2 times).
The export of iron ores YTD amounted to 4.7 mln metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 613.9 thsd metric tons (+15.2%).
